Calgary Floor Hockey League Looking for Goalies

Hey guys,

I run a floor hockey league here in the city and our season is just about to start. It's an in-house 10 team league that plays 3 on 3.

We've been established for 6 years now and keep track of lots of stats and standings on our website:

We only register individuals and then draft teams as we have 10 captains that are going to draft teams this coming Tuesday Sept 15th. After that the season starts Sept 22nd.

The costs are very cheap since we get free gym time at one of our gyms and so we charge $60 for a 40 game season. Games are 30 minutes and you play 2 each night you are scheduled. So 20 nights you'd play an hour.

Right now we only have 7 goalies and we need 10 for the 10 teams. If you play goal, check out our website. The schedules are up, we play Tuesday nights and probably 3 saturdays every two months as well in the afternoon.

I'd be interested through I haven't been in net for quite sometime now, I've been playing more D lately. But I am trying to get back into playing the goalie again.

I currently don't have my own equipment seeing as how I've sold them long ago, but will soon be getting a new set soon.

You can come and not be very good and yell at your dmen as long as they can yell at you for sucking as well. Hows that sound?

Also, for those of you that don't have gear. We actually have two sets of very good goalie gear at our main venue that we play at. You can use that stuff every week there. The only time there wouldnt be gear available is when you play at North Glenmore Community Centre, which you'd only play there maybe 4 times in the year.

If anyone is interested in coming and checking it out. Next Tuesday Sept 15th is our next preseason night where we are just going to play pickup hockey. You can come, play for the night, and then decide if you wanna join based on that if you'd like.
