Default Office or Cubicle?

Just curious for those of us working in a white collar setting. We recently moved from wonderful offices into our "open concept" cubicles and I'm wondering what the rest of Calgary looks like depending on industry and job title.

I'm an accountant in the Oil & Gas sector.

I lived in a cubicle for five years (marketing). I kind of liked it because it was technically a "pod." There were four of us in a large cubicle and we got up to all sorts of shenanigans. Now I'm in an office and it's kind of lonely sometimes while at the same time leaving much more time to look on teh webz .

Office, I refuse to work in a cubicle.

I'm on the phone making cold calls and I need the quiet.

Insurance Company/Finance
Downtown, large office, moving to a larger corner office soon with extra tables and chairs.
This has zero reflection on my importance and salary. Just dumb luck. That said, I'm often bored and lonely.

lol, you poor b*****d!

I'm in a cubicle myself. One of the more private ones but cubicle none the less. Good sized one but would LOVE to have an office one day. Maybe when we move into our new building in 1.5 yrs.

Both.

IT, and my desk is a cubicle, but I spent a lot of time in my lab, which is basically an office.
