Default Missing Girl Found 18 Years Later

Hell is too good for the abductors:

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2009/0..._n_270503.html

A man suspected of snatching an 11-year-old girl and hiding her for nearly two decades in his backyard faced a Friday court appearance, as the woman's family reunited with their daughter and met the two children fathered by her alleged abductor.

Her abductor, investigators said, raped her and fathered two children with her, the first when Jaycee was about 14. Those girls, now 11 and 15, also were kept hidden away in the backyard compound behind the Antioch home.

"None of the children have ever been to school, they've never been to a doctor," El Dorado County Undersheriff Fred Kollar said. "They were kept in complete isolation in this compound."

Even a parole agent who visited Garrido's home didn't have an inkling about the hidden compound, Kollar said. Garrido is a registered sex offender on federal parole for rape and kidnapping convictions.

Sick

I got a email about Nugent going off on a rant about how there wouldnt be repeat offenders if we could defend ourselves properly.

In this case I have to side with Nugent...

Agree,Hell is too good for this guy and his cowardly 8itch wife!!

No school,No doctor.....

To say these kids will be severly messed up, is an understatement.

I just pray that all 3 of them find some kind of normalcy and happiness from now on.

Interesting. Its like they're saying that these kids have the right to see a doctor and have medical treatment. I am curious to what the "real 'mericans" think of these evil socialist ideas.

Seriously though - I hope no serious harm came to these kids and they are able to live a somewhat happy life.

It disgusts me to no end when I hear of successful kidnappings like this one and the one in europe where the guy kept that girl underground for years. How the hell does this happen?

On the bittersweet side the parents got their daughter back...rather than a corpse or a ongoing mystery.

The poor father - he was a suspect for 18 years. His wife never believed him and it ruined his marriage. Bittersweet for sure.

Yeah, if that 11 year old girl was packing heat, she would have been fine.

Gun control laws have absolutely NOTHING to do with this case, or any like it, and could not prevent a case like this, no matter how much delusional idiots like Nugent try to convince themselves otherwise.

I was talking about his previous offences...

Quote:
He was convicted of kidnapping a 25-year-old woman whom he snatched from a South Lake Tahoe parking lot, handcuffed, tied down and held in a mini-warehouse in Reno, according to a November 1976 story in the Reno Gazette-Journal.
If the 25 year old woman had a gun and killed him back in 1976 then he wouldnt have kidnapped the girl in the first place.

I hope for a speedy trial, a lengthy sentence, and general population.

This is happening up in my neck of the woods. Crazy story.

I trust residents of the California Correctional System will give this scum bag a warm welcome... he's going to be someone else's captor for the next 18+ years.

Shouldn't the probation officer inspect the house of a registered sex offender once in a while? The neighbors thought the tents in the backyard were strange, but never reported it.

There's a toad in the witch grass
There's a crow in the corn
Wild flowers on a cross by the road
And somewhere a baby is crying
For her mom
As the hills turn from green back
To gold

Why wasn't God watching?
Why wasn't God listening?
Why wasn't God there for
Georgia Lee?

I hope for a speedy trial, death penalty - introduction to some ball busting skinheads - then lethal injection.

Its more than what he deserves but thats the justice system for you.

Yeah this story is horrible.

Re: Stockholm Syndrome - any word on if Jaycee misses the kidnapper? I mean maybe she feels like she's been ripped from her family twice now.

Yes, there were reports she feels guilty about the feelings she has for the kidnappers.

As long as the lethal injection doesn't happen for 18 years at least and he spends those 18 years in general population in constant fear for his life while enduring day after day of terror, pain and sorrow.... I'm ok with that.
