I just thought I would show off my new firepit! Seems like it would be appreciated here!

Do you have any night-time pictures where you are burning an Oilers jersey in that bad boy?

Nice pit, but when I opened the thread I was expecting a stone pit shaped with the flaming C. I think that would be even better.

Need night pics with the flames from the pit shining through the flames on the pit casting an outline of flames on the ground.

As long as a waterjet table could cut the design, rollers to bend them into shape, and a welder to tack the screen on. At least that's how it looks like.

You must work in IT, like I do. An accurate summation, with all kinds of useful information, yet doesn't actually answer the original question which I think was looking for a rough estimate of "how long", not "how".

I admire and wish to emulate your styles!

With the right equipment (waterjet) it could take a day to get it all cut out and welded up,. Just given from watching those OCC fellas it seems like the waterjets can cut through that width of metal pretty fast.

Cool.

I know a tin-basher that could actually make this kind of thing for me. I know a fire-pit (mine) that could use it.

If materials are at cost and labor is free + a box of cigars, what would this kind of thing cost (ignoring the cost of cigars) to make?

The sad thing is that the guy who would be making it is an Oilers fan, but he likes cigars a lot.

Not IT though.

Considering time for design/setup, water cutting, bending fab and welding, and painting, I'd say some where in the range of 5-8 hours. It varies greatly by the skill of the workers.

Material cost is usually minimal compared to labour, so if a friend is willing to do it for cigars + material cost, it sounds like a hell of a deal (depends on the cigars though ).

They would have to be since it's not an officially licensed product.

Dood. Those need to go into production. How would any Flames fan worth his/her salt NOT want one of those?

I REALLY want one.
