The school says she was fired for not showing up for work. The paper went well out of it's way to thouroughly research this story with lots of photographic evidence. Obviously for purely educational.... ooh, bouncy!

True story. My cleaning ladies in Pentiction wore bikinis while they cleaned my home. They called themselves "Sweeping Beauties". Sadly, I was usually at work while they were doing this.

Yeesh. What a sleazy affair that whole thing is. Even the article itself is sleazy. They could only squeeze the company name in three times so they helpfully linked directly to the charter company so we could really get informed.

My math may be a little fuzzy, but if she makes 600 bucks a week as a teacher, isn't that 15 bucks an hour, assuming it's a full time job?

I'm assuming that's after taxes. For a new teacher it's pretty standard to pull down approximately 2500 - 2900 (dependent on education) a month after tax (at least in calgary). For the amount of work most of them put in it's criminal! I used to think the vacations would make up for it . . . I no longer think that.

edit: I don't know about any of you, but taking 20 days off above and beyond my vacation time would have me fired mighty quick. I doubt I'd get a story on the internet and a 16 page slideshow if it happened either.

Agreed. As soon as I saw those tats on her I could tell she'd be runnin with a crew like that, she looks like a dirty. To be honest she's not even that great, she looks pretty old in the face. Although I could probably work with her every day and still not have any idea what her face looks like...
