Anybody have a good page with a list of internet radio stations? I've found a few but nothing comprehensive and it seems they want me to sign up for an account after so many clicks. I'm looking for specifically Talk and News but any suggestions would be appreciated.

Internet news/talk stations are to find because it involves paying somone to work...it invloves audience participation and other variables that aren't really viable for many internet radio stations. Internet Music stations require a Juke Box and that's it. If you're looking for news/talk you're best bet is streams from real radio stations.

Kevan, if you have Winamp, you can get internet stations on there. I listen to them all day at work. There's hundreds of stations and they're awesome. Lots of different genres.

I don't have a link for a page, but I can say I really enjoy the following stations on the internet:

www.sun80s.com - The best 80s music from Dublin, Ireland
www.theclassicalstation.org - Fantastic classical station from North Carolina
www.wbgo.org - Best jazz station I have heard from Newark, NJ.

My favourite talk radio out there, on the internet or otherwise, is a program called Extension 720, and it is hosted by Milt Rosenberg, from WGN720 in Chicago. It is an amazingly interesting talk show for people who like history, politics, and subject matter that doesnt involve Paris Hilton or Survivor gossip.

He has a great radio archive section too where you can listen to him and his guests on topics such as Communism spies, Alexander Hamilton, Hitler's Scientists, the rise of Ghengis Khan etc.

fascinating stuff IMO.
