It starts tonight at 7:00 pm. Its indoors at the Okotoks Recreation Centre (111 Milligan Drive).

Wild Horse Race
And of course the perennial crowd favorite – Mutton Bustin

Standing Room Only area:

Children $5.00 / day
Saturday Night Dance $12.00 / person in advance, $15.00 / person at the door

Didn't the Saturday night dance used to be called the moccasin dance? I used to live out there, and that was the night where everyone got drunk and fought.

In fact, I knew guys that would bring mouthguards in anticipation of a dust up.

How long ago was that? Okotoks has changed and grown a lot in the last 5-10 years. It has a population of 23,000 now and it won't be long before it hits 30,000.
