Default liability insurance

So Im getting married on Sept 26. Im having my own bar with my own bartenders. I was just informed by the hall where im having my reception, that I need Liability Insurance. Now where do i go to find this. cause I called my insurance company and they dont deal with commerical insurance. Does anyone have a suggestion, do i really need this, the people at the hall say its for my own protection. i think is BS that i have to get insurance to protect me from stupid people actions.

It's not really commercial insurance, they likely want you to get a PAL policy if you plan on having liquor served at the reception hall. The hall doesn't want to be liable for any actions of your drunk friends after they leave hence drive drunk and kill a family. It's liquor liability and your insurance office should be able to offer you something but they usually take it to a special insurance market to get the event placed. They should facilitate everything for you at the insurance office though.
