Default toddler sabotages computer!

My wife has a Dell laptop, running Windows.
She foolishly allowed our toddler to do some typing while on her lap. In a matter of seconds, he managed to turn the entire screen display sideways.

How does one turn it back?

Ctrl + Alt + Up Arrow should fix it.

Thanks very much. Is there anything CP cannot do?
And at such speed too.
Again thanks.

Haha that reminds me. I did it to my ex-girlfriend a few years back. Needless to say, she wasn't very happy with me but it was a great joke. Haha I still chuckle about that

ctrl+alt+"arrow" will rotate your screen to the direction of the arrow.

That's an awesome trick that I'll use for joke purposes for years to come. I can't think of a practical use for it, though. Any ideas?

Some people have wide screen monitors that are able to rotate 90 degrees. When they are doing word processing or a similar activity they may rotate their monitor and then rotate the screen so they are able to see more of the page at once.

It works on my hp 2510p at work.

If you are at work and on a domain, a security policy might restrict you from doing it if you dont have admin rights.

It also wont work if you have a dual monitor I believe - not 100% sure on that.

Can't on my duals at work.

I actually read that if you do a lot of document viewing if you turn your monitor it is much more efficient. Too lazy to call IT to explain why I would need that to try.

It depends upon the monitor and/or video card. Some support this, some don't.
