Propane to Gas

Hey everybody,

anyone ever convert their propane BBQ to Gas? Is it easy? Do tell please. I just moved into a brand new place which has the gas line outside all ready.

piece of cake, you just change out your valve assembly and add a hose w/quick coupler. If its a name brand, get the model # and head to BBQ's galore, they have everything on the shelf to help you

Very easy. I just had to switch mine back to propane actually because I moved out of my condo to a house with no gas line. The valve assembly/jets are one piece usually, and it should just be a couple screws to get it out.

The hookup to the house may require a special fitting though. My hose had a quick release connection on the end, and I needed the matching part (from BBQ's Galore as mentioned). It came with pipe dope, put the pipe dope around the threads, wrench, done.
