When I went to vegas for new years with my family, they wanted to catch a few shows. We went to some classic show in vegas with dancers and what not, and the Blue man Group. I have to admit, i didnt think I would enjoy men painted blue that much but they put on a really good show and I would highly recommend it to anybody. Infact it was one of the most entertaining things ive seen in a while. Anybody else ever see them and what did u think?

I heard the same review from someone else. After they did those Intel commercials, I thought they were some lame sideshow freaks (as I had never heard of them prior).
Like you said, apparently they are a great show. I can't personally vouch for them, but I have promised my buddy to see the show when I go to Vegas.

Definately a good show. A little pricey for good seats though ($90), but very entertaining. I recommend wearing the ponchos they give you if you are near the front...

They perform in the Luxor.

I was in Vegas for New Years too and that was the #1 show I wanted to watch on my list (followed by "O").

Their show is all about contrast, right?

I have seen quite a few shows in vegas ("O", Splash, Mystere, Zoomanity, Siegfried and Roy, etc) and would have to say that Blue Man Group was one of my favorite shows down there.

They had a 'one night only' touring show at the Jubilee Auditorium here in Calgary about 18 months ago. As others have said, it was really great. Strange and messy, but great.

I saw them in Vegas as well a few years ago and LOVED it. Its definitely not everyones cup of tea, but I'll say this; you can walk away from their show knowing full well that you will never ever in the rest of your life see anything quite like it. Very original, very interactive and educational all at the same time.

Wasn't it the "understudy of the understudy"?

I saw them in Vegas and in Calgary last summer, and enjoyed both shows immensely. As mentioned by others, I wasn't sure what the heck it was going to be all about, but it ended up being pure enjoyment.

The show is just an all-out assault on your senses. And when that isn't enough, they get the crowd involved, but not in circus kind of ways. They almost bring the show out into the audience.

I recommend them to anyone who has a chance to see them.

Ditto, and I agree! Although, I'm pretty sure it was among the unfortunate CD's of mine that got stolen out of my car...

No it was in Music World. Most CD stores should be able to order it for you if they don't have it in stock.
