I was walking on campus today(Uof S) and saw a poster for some guy who does Star Wars all by himself as a one man play. I guess he is doing that (On the 23rd) and his new Lord of the Rings play the day after. The reviews on the poster made it sound great (hilarious, moving etc.) , but I was wondering if anyone on here has heard of the guy or even seen one of these plays. I might just have to check em out if I hear a recommendation or two.

I seen a play kinda like that, it was a comedy but it was about a farmer and small town, he played the voice of every character and kinda changed his face for them too. It was alright, kinda boring but a star wars/lotr would prob be more interesting.

I've seen the show, and it's incredible. Definitely worth the money. If this is the same guy (and I'm pretty sure it is) he nails every voice absolutely perfectly.

You mean Wigfield, or something like that? Yeah, I've seen that. From what I've heard, this Star Wars guy is a little more... dynamic. I saw a great one-man film-noir play up at the Fringe in Edmonton about five years back. It was actually really intense and dramatic--probably the most impressive live acting performance I've ever seen.

When I was in high school we went to a one-man play at he FF in EDM where the guy used the characters from the Simpsons to act out MacBeth. Homer as Macbeth- MacHomer to be exact. He projected the character's pictures onto a big white screen, drawings were all his, and did all the voices and the acting. It was awesome, and I would definitely go to one again.
