Rock The Bells (Hip Hop Concert) in Calgary
The biggest damn Hip Hop concert series in coming to Calgary. It will be held at Shaw Millennium Park and some of the artists attending this year will be Nas, Damian Marley, Slaughterhouse, House of Pain, Talib Kweli & Hi-Tek, Big Boi (of OutKast), and a bunch more.
General admission tickets are $80 and if you wish to get VIP tickets they are $100 more. VIP tickets will get you artist meet and greets, a limited edition backpack and t-shirt, and some other stuff.
I went to the one last year in Baltimore and it was HUGE!
Highly suggest everyone goes to this concert.

Really wish Eyedea & Abilities were on the Calgary date

I have so little money but to see KRS live in person would be amazing. I know he is hosting but will he rap?
Unfortunately I really don't care for the rest of the them, unless the concert takes place in 1994, before Nas got a chance to "develop" as an artist. Cypress hill could be alright, and the same with Rza (but Rza will probably stick to his crappy new Bobby Digital stuff). Props to Pete Rock who I see is also a host. Will he whisper all over everybody else's tracks?

Got the VIP tickets and I'm stoked to go see this. Not really sure what to expect - noon start, end at 10:30 PM, all ages show? We'll see I guess.
