Caps Wheel and Deal
The Capitals have moved Center John Madden and some cash to the Flyers for Prospects Jeremy Morin, Peter Olvecky and Matt Halischuk.
This move frees up cash and brings in some much needed ECHL and AHL assets.
Next the Capitals moved Prospect Alex Chiasson to the Minnesota Wild for Scott Nichol and Michael Rupp.
This move was necessary to add some CPHL depth to the team. Nichol will slot into the C position and Rupp LW.
The Capitals are not close to done. There are a glut of D prospects in the AHL that need to be moved, and the Caps need two Centers, two left wingers and two Dmen to fill the roster.
