Default Flames LOGO!

I need a (good quality) "sticker" of the Flaming "C" logo that I can use as a stencil. as close as possible to the actual size on a jersey.

I'm almost finished a Flames themed Barbeque, I planned to have the current "C" on the top, I've tried and failed miserably making my own stencils, If I had a sticker, I could use it to replicate the logo easily, using the "work from the center out" method.

I'm using paint that's rated 260 degrees celcius, I baked my first base coat and it turned out awesome.

If any of you know a place in town (Calgary) where I can get something like this, It would save me a ton of grief and I could finally finish this project.

....I'll post pics when ..... if, I get it finished.

My first question is: What is the shape of the barbeque (i.e. standard rectangular block or kettle style)?

I can't help you with the logo...or anything really...but it would be extra cool if you could incorporate the Flaming "C" into the grate, that way your steaks and burgers would be charred with the "C".

It may not be a sticker but you could print this off and use it as a stencil.

What's wrong with the graphic HD posted?
If it's not the exact size you need, just resize it yourself.

Maybe I'm not understanding you?

I need a factory sticker.

Iv'e tried making a stencil by cutting from printed material using vellum etc. It's very difficult.

I have no problem reproducing the logo via a printer, but a "sticker", when properly cut and removed at the various stages of painting, would ensure a perfect, crisp replica of the logo.

hand made stencils are very difficult to make, and depending on the medium, very difficult to adhere to the working surface, difficult to remove, also, a medium that is too thick will ruin the base color.

A "sticker" would eliminate all these issues. The sticker would have to be sacrificed, but the end result would be of very high quality.

There is a sticker pack listed on shop.nhl.com that includes an 11 x 17 Flaming C decal.
From the looks of it you'd have to use an exacto knife to cut around the logo.

The bad news is it's backordered.
The worse news is it's $31.99

Call Taylor Signs, I'm sure they can print one up for any size you need, cheap.

Well,

I contacted 5 different sign co's in Calgary. 2 of them replied with: "We can't print that logo because it's a registered trade mark", the other 3 just didn't reply.

FFFFFFKKKKKKKKKK!!!!!!!!

...So I went to Office Depot, bought 15 sheets of sticker paper, brought them home, loaded them into my printer, clicked on the logo that I had saved on my PC, clicked "print", printer went... ca-chug-ca-chug....flashing paper jam light!!!

FFFFFFKKKKKKKKKKKKK!!!!!!!!

So I peeled a piece of this sticker paper off it's backing, pressed it on to a sheet of wax paper, loaded it into my printer, clicked on the logao that I had saved on my PC, clicked "print", AND it worked like a charm!!!... A Flaming C sticker, very close to "jersey size", and ready to be used as a stencil for my Calgary Flames themed BBQ!!!!

Not really sure if anyone cares, but I will post updates, hopefully I will be posting pictures soon, because I'm getting frustrated with the lack of progress with this project!!! ....................... .......

Well The Barbecue is almost done.

Here's some before and after shots.

Used Engine block paint.

replaced side shelving.

replaced front board and used automotive urethane.

.....Just need ATCO to come and move my gas meter and add the "T" so I can
use this baby!

Lookin' good!

But wouldn't the heat from the BBQ warp the sticker?

It's all (engine block) paint. No sticker.

I made a series of stencils to get the Logo on there.
