CO-OP 'Classic Ale' Brewed by Big Rock
Just an FYI. CO-OP 'Classic Ale' is brewed by Big Rock. The bottles even have Big Rock caps! It tastes actually superior to Trad. My girl and I a/b'd it camping last weekend.
In can or bottle (with Big Rock cap) it retails for $8.69!!!
YEAH FOR GOOD BEER AT A GREAT PRICE!!!

You need to change your username to CO-OP Ale now.
I actually enjoy some of the Superstore President's Choice Lite beer every now and then, brewed by some no-name crap brewery.

Of the discount beer, Alberta Genuine Draft, Coop Classic Ale, and Presidents Choice Honey Red, I think Coop's is the best.
The others are okay, but Coop Classic Ale is very close to Big Rock's Honey Brown or Warthog, at a fraction of the price.

Been saying this for a while now.
My hope as well. And I think it will be done.
A micro brew void of tax/middle men and available not for profit.
WHO'S WITH ME!

AGD and CO-OP branded beer is the Big Rock cast off beer that doesn't meet their current brand requirements.
AGD is terrible, terrible beer. Never tried CO-OP brand, but if it's anything like AGD I know I'm not missing anything.
There are only two reasons to drink budget beer:
1) you're getting blasted while camping
2) you're in college/university and are dirt poor
In all other cases, spend a couple extra dollars and get something that is actually drinkable.

3) You’re on a beer-league softball team and every time you strike-out you have to buy a case of beer for the team to enjoy…

You must hate your team mates to subject that beer on them. Or, you need to improve your batting average

I've had the Big Rock Light Lime, its great. I never liked the bud light lime, seems like the lime is all you taste. But Big Rock Lime is just right, the lime isnt overpowering.

All I can get

Okay, I took up the suggestion and got some Co-Op beer. I quite like it.
The Classic Premium Ale says brewed by Big Rock on the label. The Co-Op Gold Premium Lager is brewed by "Pine Creek Brewing Company" (which, as it turns out, is also Big Rock).
I thought both were quite nice. This coming from a fairly sophisticated beer consumer who sticks to imports or micro-breweries.
Thumbs up. Got to like the price. Thanks for the heads-up!

I just bought some Big rock lime tonight. Im a big fan and was not very impressed with bud light lime. I would gladly pay bud light lime prices for big rock lime, maybe.
