Default Michael Jackson's Pepsi Commercial Accident In 1984

I just saw this...omg...I didn't know it was so bad.

I've seen re-creations and stuff of the accident, but this really shows how bad it was. He was so into do the gig that he didn't even realize that his hair was on fire.

WARNING: The footage may be disturbing to some people. It is quite graphic.

After seeing the pictures on the news of Michael Jackson with massive infected ulcers on his legs and track marks all over his boyd last night, I have to wonder how long until major criminal charges are bought up against his team of doctors.

He looked like a junkie.

There were recently some pictures obtained by ABC news and his body was in really bad shape. His skin on his legs was all blotchy (definetely signs of vitiligo) and some suspect he was using a bleaching agent to try to even out the skin color because of the blotchiness. He also had a huge piece of black material on his leg that looked like necrosis and all these IV and injection points. Who does injections or IV drips on the leg/

His first surgeries are said to come from after his hair caught fire in 1984 but he also had his nosejob done after he fell dancing and broke his nose in 1979 or so.

Yah, I saw those to! You have to wonder what was being injected? Sleep medication, something to fight the vitiligo (or help with the pigmentation) or just messed up pain killers?

I guess we'll know once the toxicology reports come back.

Wasn't the guy taking something like 15 capsules of Paxil every morning?

That wasn't material, it was an infected ulcer on his leg. And junkies and drug addicts especially ones in the public limelight tend to inject covered areas. I wouldn't be surprised if he had tracks between his toes and in his butt.

He looked fairly pathetic in those pictures. I still don't feel sorry for him, but that picture should be a wake up call for drug users.

I think if you take a look at his track record for surgeries, and I'm sure that there will be an accounting of it that he had a surgical addiction

Here is the pic that you guys are talking about:

Source: http://abcnews.go.com/Health/Michael...8083809&page=1

Quote:
Exclusive photos of Michael Jackson obtained by ABC News show a serious wound on the pop star's right leg, which a medical expert said appears to be surrounded by unusual needle punctures.

"On the photographs of Michael Jackson, it looks like there was necrosis on his lower leg where there might have been fluid that went into his lower leg," a possible result of an IV that had leaked into the leg, Dr. Debra Jaliman, a leading dermatologist and spokeswoman for the American Academy of Dermatology, told ABC News.
"It looks like there are multiple puncture points from IV placement," she said.
The wound seen in the photos, which were taken in 2002, could have been a result of contact with highly caustic, acidic fluid that would burn the skin and cause it to turn black, Jaliman said.
"If, in fact, he had an IV here, and the IV fluid, which may have been acidic fluid, went into his skin, it might may have, in fact, destroyed the skin," she said. "That's all dead skin that would then make an ulceration underneath that skin."
In the photos, Jaliman highlighted areas of blue discoloration in Jackson's leg and puncture marks, which she said point to needle entry.

That's considered graphic? Seriously? You need to spend more time on the internet if you think that's graphic.

I'm guessing pain killers and sleep medication.

Possibly something more illicit.

Hey, it shocked me when I saw it. It's not like I'm a regular visitor to Rotten.com or anything

There have been a few prescription drug addicts in my family and they are exactly the same as junkies, except they've found a doctor stupid enough to give them a prescription.

Some doctors will do anything. One time I went to my doctor about problems sleeping and concentrating on school/work and he just opened his sample cabinet and gave me a ton of free samples of all sorts of random ADD/anxiety/depression drugs. It was freaky. I didn't touch them. I have a brand new pack of paxil at home somewhere.

My doctor is very hesitant to prescribe anything, which makes me trust him a lot more. My grandma is a junky addicted to codeine and atavin. The only people deserving more blame than her or her husband are the scumbag doctors that keep filling up the prescriptions.

there are a lot of doctors out there like that. Pretty sure my old GP would have prescribed anything for me. Happy he retired. I stopped going when he'd prescribe a damn pill for every little thing. Even back when I had knee surgery I think I only took one of the pain meds they gave me. I figure if it isn't too uncomfortable, why subject your system to that crap?

I had no idea the incident was caught on tape. I suppose that's a touch moronic as it was a commercial. I guess I'm shocked I haven't seen it before.

If only I was working for Pepsi in '84 rather than not even being born yet:

"Thats a wrap guys. Throw some music over it and a 'Buy Pepsi' screen at the end and call 'er a day, thats our commercial right there."

Not really relevant based on what they found in his house, his addiction was the same or much more hardcore.
