Priorities - And How They Suck
So here is the situation:
My girl and I have been planning to attend South Country Fair this weekend for months now. All has been in motion and things looked great.
Until just now I get a phone call from the director of the Latin Fesitval this weekend offering me a gig that pays extremely well and I really would like the money. Actually, I really need the money.
WTF do I do?
HELP!!!!!! AAAAHHHHH!!!!

Funny thing, you can't really eat a country Fair, you can certainly buy food to eat with money.

You're boned.
You can accept the gig, and she'll be upset. You can reject the gig, and she'll feel guilty. You can leave the decision up to her, if she decides to let you play, you'll feel guilty. If she decides to go you'll feel resentful.
The only solution is to either burn the fair down or blow up the Latin Festival

I'm not sure how confident you are in him taking your advice, but if you think it's possible I'd steer clear of the Latin Festival just in case he blows it up.

Means I won't be getting back to the fair until nine or ten at night, and its actually a three day music festival on my anniversary weekend.
This is the lamest.

Love SCF! Have such a blast whenever I go to that. Do the fair Friday night and then come back and do your gig, and then back to the fair for the big Saturday bash! Sunday go for a dip in the Oldman.......all is good. Good luck with your choice

Hope and pray your g/f is understanding about the fact you need the money.
Offer to use some of the proceeds of the gig to take her to a place of her choosing.
