are there any legal ways to indulge in Calgary/Southern Alberta? I'm looking specifically for soccer, maybe during the world cup.

If not, anyone know the best online bookies? I'm assuming these are legal.

I bet a few dollars (literally, because I'm soooo high stakes!) on ladbrokes.com. It is based in the UK, but you can use Canadian dollars.

Pretty sure it is legal... and I doubt that my $25 a year is going to get me in the slammer.

You can do all sorts of soccer, plus NHL games too. I like to put $1 on an accumulator for picking the winners of a night's NHL games. I have come close to pocketing $1000 on a $1 bet a couple of times. And on other nights I lose on the first game...
