lanny Daddy! It's too hot to go to Church!

Quote:
The 7-year-old stole his dad's car to skip church this weekend and drove it 45 mph right back home with the police right behind him.

His speed was slow, but erratically; and so he would kind of scoot down lower to push on the gas and kinda sit up on the seat more to see right where he was going,“ said Weber County sheriff’s Lt. Matthew Bell.

Kids watched too many episodes of COPS. Did you see how he took off on foot there? Crazy.

What? It's not like he was wielding a stapler or something!

That is adorably terrifying.

If it were my kid, I would let the police make him spend the evening in the police station. Then make sure he was fully aware of the danger he put himself, and other people in by operating the vehicle. Then make sure he understood how unacceptable it was to run from police officers. Then he would get the whooping of a lifetime.

But still, that is fraking adorable.

I would have to agree, a taser would have made this a win. But yeah this a Cops kid, future is bright.

Haha that's awesome. If nothing else, looks like some high school has a future track star on their hands.
