Best way to share photos for business.
When it comes to computers my knowledge is average at best. I was wondering what the tech experts on CP would recommend for forwarding photos. I use Yahoo mail for business and it used to be easy to forward photos with them. After Facebook came out, Yahoo discontinued the service or software for easily forwarding photos through email.
All I want to do is email photos to customers. Right now I can only forward 5 photos at a time and I would like to be able to do 10 or more. What is the easiest way to accomplish this?
I use dropbox whenever I'm in a situation like this (stay with me, this is related I promise). Dropbox is a way to have a single folder on all of your computers that is always synced to the others. For instance, I have it set up so I have a single folder on my work computer, my home computer and my parents computer ... any change I make to that folder is reflected on the other two computers.
How does this impact you? Dropbox also makes it very easy to share content. Files and folders can be designated URL's, so if I have a folder of 15 photos that's too large to email, I can zip the folder, put it in my dropbox and then send the url of that folder to a friend or client.
Here is a video example:
Just a quick note - the video shows him sharing a folder, which is awesome, but your recipient needs to have dropbox as well (which may not be ideal). That's why I zip the file and send it using the url.
