Default Remember: Free Slurpees on July 11 (7/11/2009)

Each July 11 you get a free slurpee at participating 7-11 stores because it's the 7th month and 11th day.

Go get 'em, drink them down, and go get more!

Post your slurpee stories here.

(I'm already hyper active in anticipation of the sugar rush!)

I can't wait to see how long the lines are at the one by my house. It already takes long enough as it is, because I always end up with one guy in front of me wanting to cash in his 6 winning scratch & win cards, and then buy 18 more.

Dammit. My 7-11 just got cherry Dr. Pepper in. Now these free loaders are going to drink it all up.

Not really a slurpee story per se but......

There used to be a girl that I had a massive crush on, whose birthday was on July 11 (7-11).

So, because of her birthday, and the store with the same name, I can't totally forget about her.

I worked the night shift at 7-11 after I dropped out of university. It was a fun job. I'd work whole shifts in my roller blades. Nine years later you can still see wheel marks in some places.

I did some digging and it appears Cherry Dr Pepper is the flavour of the month at 7-11. We should really start a campaign to let 7-11 know how much we appreciate this.
