Question about drivers
Okay, the past couple days I've been having a weird glitch on my computer which is being caused by an update to the drivers that was a part of the last packet of updates from windows in the little popup bundle at the bottom of the screen.
Anyhow, there was an error message that came up and said to download some drivers from Intel to correct the problem and I did that, but when I entered set up, it said two of the drivers were unsigned and I wasn't sure what to do so I canceled it and am posting it on here.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

If the drivers are directly from the Intel site, feel safe about installing them. Unsigned is not a dealbreaker, as long as the files come from a reliable source.

okay, this is exactly what's happening.
I start the computer up, it loads normally, but when it's about to come to the main desktop page, it freezes and the monitor goes any of a number of colours.
Occasionally, when that doesn't happen and the desktop loads, it sometimes will freeze and the screen turns green or black (or both)
Occasionally, it works normally but if I try to load any thing with a video or game it does the same thing above.
It's just a little strange because I haven't downloaded anything other than that update in the last week, but I'm thinking it has something to do with either the interaction between the video card and processor, the video card, or some general glitch.
I'm not sure exactly.

Also, if I run it in safe mode, it works perfectly.

Okay, I went into safe mode and used the run command and used msconfig. Anyway, I disabled all service and system boot items. That allowed it to load properly and without any glitches upon start up.
However, when I try to load a video, it goes black and green and freezes.
I don't know exactly how to fix it though, so any help would be appreciated.

If your O/S is loading properly in safe mode, one of your higher functions is having a problem. It sounds related to your video card.
Is this a PC or laptop?

Off hand, I would suggest going to the website of your video card manufacturer and downloading the latest drivers for your card.
FWIW, Unsigned drivers simply means that Microsoft themselves haven't certified them as working with their OS. But most major manufacturers will test the hell out of them before release, so as long as you trust the manufacturer, you can usually trust the driver. This is a computer though, so as always "guarantee not actual guarantee".

okay, I installed the drivers properly and things work properly unless I load windows defender and windows operating system in the startup thing. If I enable either of those from startup, then the same problem occurs.
Should I reinstall windows?

No, but I would dump Windows Defender. I find it to be rather useless.
When you installed the new drivers, you un-installed the old ones first? If so, it sounds as though you may have some system instability still.
