Default Horray its raining in Calgary!

Raining cats and dogs out there right now.
So far its been an extremely dry spring. The rivers are a lot lower than they normally are this time of year.

We need this. Too bad it had to come during Stampede week though.

I love rain.
Should help wash away the vomit and stench from the weekend.

Also good fo agriculture/lawns/flowers/stuff.

Hopefully it stops between 545 and 615 (when I walk home)

I have a coat but dont use umbrellas - If I get wet, I get wet.

If its too much you could send some of it up to Red Deer. This could be the dryest year on record so far.

Both true^^

Another great thing about this rain is that my undercarriage is finally getting rinsed out. Hooray for puddles!

edit* oops, I meant to quote wookie, not enthused.

Looks like it is heading north, BBB. Have a look at the radar:

What? Did you not get the rain we've been having for the last few days off and on?

Its very scattered and still hasn't amounted to much. This area needs a couple of inches. Take a drive out of the city. I have never seen this area in such bad shape.

Oh yes... thought you meant the city itself. Red Deer has been lucky actually, as we've received a lot more than surrounding area.

Just check out the total for this years growing season compared to historical ones. Sure is a lot of Record dry and the majority of Alberta is extremely low. BRUTAL! It's also meant very little severe thunderstorms.

Some dry areas are getting much needed rain today, especially drumheller and east.

No kidding, I am tired of the gloomy days that we have been having for the last while. The worst part is that it is cloudy a lot but there was no rain, so it is a lose\lose situation.

A quick product endorsement, I use RainX, thanks pimp in the box, and it works awesome. When it is fresh the water just flies off. You could almost not use your wipers on deerfoot. Good stuff.

Oh yay, the icing on the cake! On top of not having a coat or an umbrella, I was only quoted by accident.

Badly need this rain. We got clouds over the past week but barely much rain. Just hope it doesn't rain too much and starts after Stampede.

This is what we get for having a late winter.
