Congrats. I'm definitely not a father, but everything I've heard about being in that room is not pretty. Could get ugly in a matter of minutes.

Jay is a good name for a baby.....or Darryl Stanley Ktrain has a nice ring to it.

Congrats.
I was going to suggest Jarome as a name...I think you should still push for it.

Good luck.
My name suggestion is:
Dion Mikka
or
Dionne Mikka (for a girl)
it works either way

Congrats!
I was in the room when one of my best friends had her baby, i even cut the umbilical cord. I didn't find it gross at all. This is your 2nd tho, so, i'm sure you know what to expect.
My vote for a name is Miikka Jerome.

We're still here. Things are progressing. Thanks for the congrats.
Since this is my second time I know what to expect. You definitely do not want to look at the "business end" of a birth. Think Knocked Up x 10. Babies are beautiful. Birth is horrifying.

Your facebook said she's a couple of weeks early. When was she supposed to be due? We should have added you to the baby pool
You can try to slip in a Jerry or at least have Jarome as a middle name.
Good luck!

And your posting here? Shouldn't you be boiling water or running around in a circle screaming like a girl.

Hook up a webcam and stream the birth live!!
Yeah we were at the Rockyview, though they didn't actually have a room for her to be in, so she spent her whole labour in the rooms where they put moms after they gave birth! No balls, no walking, no shower..
And due to circumstances (she was induced, nothing expected to happen until the next morning), she sent me home around midnight.. I get a call at 6 to come in, she's almost totally ready to go! So I missed the hardest part lol, just a few hours of labour, then into the birthing rooms (finally) when she was read to go, and an hour later I had a boy.
