So, my wife is in labour right now

We're at the Rockyview and have been for the last five hours. We're in the exact same room that our last son was born in. It's a great hospital to have your kids in.

My wife is drugged to the gills right now otherwise she might have concerns with me surfing CP on my phone. She's asking me to look up stuff for her. The drugs are keeping her happy and me sane.

For those without kids, if your a guy, be prepared to wait around for hours feeling helpless. If you're a gal, give your baby's daddy a break if he looks lost.

I doubt I'll be able to give any "play-by-play" of the birth. I know you're disappointed.

We're havng another boy and Jarome has been vetoed even though they'll share the same birthday. She's not that drugged up I guess.

I was in the room when one of my best friends had her baby, i even cut the umbilical cord. I didn't find it gross at all. This is your 2nd tho, so, i'm sure you know what to expect.

Yeah we were at the Rockyview, though they didn't actually have a room for her to be in, so she spent her whole labour in the rooms where they put moms after they gave birth! No balls, no walking, no shower..

And due to circumstances (she was induced, nothing expected to happen until the next morning), she sent me home around midnight.. I get a call at 6 to come in, she's almost totally ready to go! So I missed the hardest part lol, just a few hours of labour, then into the birthing rooms (finally) when she was read to go, and an hour later I had a boy.
