I'm gonna be flipping 'jacks at the Sunterra breakfast tomorrow morning, out at the West Market location on Sirocco Dr (just off Sarcee and 17th SW). The rest of the week, I'll be concentrating on freeloading in my more accustomed style.

Ugh, so jealous. I was in C-town since June 28th but had to come back up to Deadmonton yesterday. I was dyin for some pancake breakfasts, I haven't had any since I moved away 5 years ago. Haha I can tell I'm getting older when the breakfasts have become my favourite part of the whole damn Stampede...

If you read the Thursday Letters to the Herald, it seems trendy to bash stampede breakfasts as "non vegan" and environmentally destructive".

That's probably just a few nutbars with time on their hands. I can't see your average vegan disliking a stampede breakfast, just have pancakes and juice, skip the bacon/sausage and you're golden.

This thread is gold. I usually make a trip to Calgary during the stampede just for one of the breakfasts. Oh... and the stampede too... but that's secondary... actually, maybe it's third behind the women...
