Default Best way to Kelowna

I've been to Kelowna a few times and always have driven along the TransCanada and then south on Highway 97. Has anyone driven down Highway 2 south and then taken Highway 3 to Kelowna? Is it any shorter or faster?

Highway 3 makes the trip MUCH farther. Highway 3 zig zags all over the place.

The highway, . . . is mostly two lanes [you can get stuck behind trucks and trailers with no place to pass]

Fastest way is Cgy - Golden - Sicamous - Vernon - Kelowna

Having done both of those drives numerous times, the best alternative is take Deerfoot north to Airport Trail. Right at the lights and then right at the next lights.

If you have a lot of time and want to experience real BC Mountain roads, than go ahead and do highway 3. But you're probably adding 5 hours of driving time by going that way.

You want to end up in the airfield? (well, actually more like in the park and ride lot) You'll have to take the right at the second set of lights along Airport Trail, not the first one.

I already did that last night. Told Heatley that when you run your own team into the sewer, you might as well toss out a grenade and take another team with you. It's the Kevin Lowe way of doing things.
