More trades in Panther Land
The Panthers have addressed two of their needs today.
We sent Buffalo's 3rd round pick and the Panthers 3rd round pick in 10' to Colorado for Fredrik Modin and 1.5 million in Cap Space.
In another move, the Panthers traded Prospects Drayson Bowman, Justin Azevedo, and Josh Godfrey to Toronto for Brett Lebda.
We hope that Modin contributes to the Panthers' 3rd line and that Lebda helps to fill out the bottom pairing.
More to come.

The 2nd one is an overpayment but if ya like what ya got and they fill your holes (another hole filling comment Simmer) thats good trade.
I like all the activity, lots of teams active. I should do something too

Yeah that 2nd one is a definite overpayment, but if a team is taking a certain direction and is happy with the trade , then I guess that's good. Either way, good job to the Caps for the trade, that's VERRRY NIIICE.

I knew that it was an overpayment going into it, but I get a bit more cap space, and more importantly, I clear room on my farm team to accommodate all the D that I have.
Trading from a strength to address a weakness is all.
Plus it helps him out as I know he didn't really have any D prospects coming up.
Now my D are 79 OA, 78 OA, 76 OA, 74 OA, 72 OA and 70 OA. Decent overall depth wise.

I was checking out Lebda's profile in the Sim, and it says he's 5'6" but NHL.com says he's 5'9".
Not sure exactly where I would need to go to process it normally so I thought I'd add it in here.

Please don't post trades until we have approved them.
The deal with Washington has been rejected. Far too lopsided.

Another trade has gone down.
Morris, Boynton, Chorney and Mihalik have been dealt to Washington for Kubina and Morrisonn
Rumours are swirling that Kubina's stay in Florida will be brief....
