The Bears beat the Dinos 12-0 last night up here at Clare Drake Arena to run their unbeaten streak vs Dinos to 45 games. However, after 2 periods tonight down at FDB the Dinos lead the Bears 4-1. Former Hitmen Wade Davis has 2 goals for the Dinos so far.

Who wants to bet the growing amount of Edmontonians on the board mysteriously skip this thread?
Good job for the U of C men. We lost in overtime to the Golden Bears earlier this this so we've played them pretty competitively.

Should we be?
This is the first time out of 45 the Dinos managed to win a game.
If anything, this is just another one of those sad little moral victories vs. Edmonton that Calgarians seem to hold in such high reguard.

Why do you even do this? You're such a waste of a poster, man. Why shouldn't we be excited that the Dinos finally broke the streak? What exactly is wrong with that? Just keep flexing your internet muscles, arse.
How about instead of belittling our hockey program, you actually post some useful ideas instead of this redundant, boring BS that comes up in EVERY single one of your posts? I'm getting a little tired of it, and I'm sure almost everyone else is too.
You're more than welcome here if you would actually post some half-decent things, and not this garbage.

JayP was just making a joke because of all the garbage that's been going on here in the last week or so. He just stuck it out there to prove a point, and you bit on it, and therefore proved his point. You could have been a big man and not jumped at the chance, but obviously you're not that mature.
I'm just saying, 99.9% of the stuff that you post is pure GARBAGE and really has no use being on an otherwise respectable message board. Like I said, you'd be more than welcome on this board if you actually contributed CONSTRUCTIVELY, but you're really not doing that. Every thing that comes from you has to do with defending your city and bashing ours. Cut it out.

I was at the game Friday night, 12-0 Bears. No one should be shocked that the Dinos won this game on the 6 year anniversery of there last win over the Bears. Enjoy it while it lasts, Next time you beat the hockey Bears will be in February 2011.

We will. Bottom line, Dinos won and Bears lost. Sure it's only 1 game but let us have our 15 minutes of glory without shoving the "45 games and nice program" crap in our face. As always, Edmontonians... Bad winners and bad losers.
Here's the rub. Bears may be 45-1 in the last 6 years, but they still have to live in Edmonton.. World's largest landfill.

Worlds largest landfill?? I knew you guys had an inferiority complex the size of Rita McNeil but come on man. Ive asked alot of people outside the province that have visited both cities and they say Calgary smells like cow crap, literally.
Besides, combined our Pandas/Bears hockey team are like 100-1 against the dinos 2 teams over the last 6 years,

Funny.
Ever wonder why Calgary is surrounded with Horses and farms in the North East?
Next time you come to Edmonton in June, July, or August, check out the colour of the grass in Calgary before you leave. It's brown and yellow....i.e lack of precipitation. When you come to Edmonton, you'll notice it's all dark green.
