Electric Fireplaces

Does anyone know where to get a decent Electric Fireplace in Calgary or online we're looking for one more for looks than actually the heat it gives off. We moved into a home that does not have a actual fireplace but the people that lived their before got the builder to leave the canteliever (spelling??) (the cut out of where an actual fireplace would have gone) in their great room, they used that space for a fish tank, we thought we could use it by getting a nice looking electric fireplace. Thanks so much for any tips, we're looking for a dark brown / espresso finish on the mantle if possible.

Have you checked out Barbeques Galore? I think if nothing else they might be a good starting point.

I like the fishtank idea. I can't stand gas fireplaces.

Its really hard to incinerate a hobo corpse in an electric fireplace though.

I was thinking of a gelfireplacemyself but don't know anyone who has one. Sure don't need it for heat.
