Major Breakthrough for MS

Italian researcher, P. Zamboni, and others have demonstrated that every person with MS has significant blockages in the veins that drain the brain (e.g. jugular veins). This important finding has major implications for understanding and treating MS.

A tv program this evening, W5, showed that people in Italy with MS are being treated successfully, by removing the blockage in certain veins.

I would like to know what the medical people in Calgary think about this, and if any medical procedures are being carried out here as a result of these findings.
