Sharks GM Stepping Down
The rumors are swirling, just like Sharks do, that San Jose GM Ryan has been fired by the team president for a lackluster playoff performance this year. More likely however, is that Ryan has found himself with little to no time this summer to be involved in the many many trades and signings that will need to be done in San Jose.
"I'd like to thank the commishes of the league, especially Jiri, for their continuous effort in making the CPHL the best league on the net. Thanks also, to all the GM's of the league who I have grown to like through hours of chatting on MSN. It's a fine group of people involved in the CPHL and you will all be missed." said former GM Ryan.
"A few months ago I had big plans for this off-season and was ready to have a busy but fun summer of trading, but right now I just don't have the time necessary to do all the things that need to be done and I don't want to see the Sharks fail miserably due to my lack of effort. I'm sure I will regret this later on this summer, especially during draft time as that's my favorite time of the year, but I have to do what's best for the team."
With that, a new era in Sharks management is upon us and Ryan wishes the new GM the "best of luck" in his adventures.
Thanks again to everyone!
