Psoriasis
Any other CPers suffer from this horrible infliction? I have tried every cream known to man, hoping to get on Biologics next but I can't get in until January so my summer is ruined. I am beyond frustrated and depressed at this point.

Runs in my family, my brother has had it the worst, he's nearly free of it now and I'll ask him what they did. In Iceland the government pays for all these expensive treatments, they even send people who suffer from it to Spain for 3 weeks to soak up sun.

I have a mild case on an arm. Because it's mild, I can get away with the Climb On stuff. I just have to be religious in using it. http://www.climbonproducts.com/

My mom suffers from it quite badly. For her, it flares up in combination with her Chron's and arthritis - I'm not sure what she's taking now, but she was taking methotrexate for a while but it put the liver enzyme counts into the dangerous level, so she had to stop. I think right now it's a topical prescrption cream.
Both of my brothers have had bouts of it too, but so far I've come out unscathed.

Got a minor case of it in my scalp, though you'd never know it if you saw me. As long as I use my shampoo every day its gone. But dont use it for a few days and I'd be in trouble. I cant even use regular shampoo without my scalp itching like crazy afterwards.

Right now my body is about 70% covered. No beach for me this year, I get tired of the questions and feeling like a leper.

Tried Trixera or Akerat by Avene?
Not a prescription but by all the accounts I've heard, good stuff.

Chronic psoriasis (and similar issues) is a symptom of some other problem, often related to poor digestion and nutrition assimilation.
By getting to the root of the problem, the symptom will go away. Topical treatments do little if anything, and steroid based treatments will do more harm than good in the long run. I will add, that using non-toxic skin care products are a great idea, just don't expect a topical product to cure a chronic psoriasis condition.

Sometimes sun actually helps to lessen the symptoms. My brother is really fare and he has it his whole life, sometimes its been worse that others. He took up surfing and spending time in the sun has cleared him up. When he had really bad outbreaks he would use ointment...Lidex it was called. Supposedly ointments are stronger than creams. But you're only supposed to use them until the rash is gone, something about them thinning your skin if you use them where you don't have a rash.
Maybe take in some sun in the privacy of your own backyard and see if you get relief.

Steroid creams with long term use can thin out the skin, and mess with your immune system.
But you're right, UV rays can really help. Getting out in the sun is helpful, or even a tanning booth if you can't spend time in the sun.

Where can one purchase these nutritional assimilating toxin chelating 100% natural non-toxic 4 humor synchronizing organicly magnetic products? And can they be applied with that accupuncture moxibustion raiki colonic hydrotherapy technique?
For those who believe in science, psoriasis is NOT a symptom of some other problem, it's essentially an autoimmune disease.

1. Cut out as much wheat, dairy, and sugar from your diet as possible.
2. Take overloads of Fish oil and Evening Primrose Oil/Borage Oil every day.
3. Try to get lots of fiber in your system (while avoiding wheat).
4. Drink lots of water
5. Continue this for minimum of 3 months before deciding that it is not working. Sometime you may even start to get a bit worse, before improving.

Heard back from my bro, he's 100% clear and hails this as his miracle drug.
http://www.remicade.com/remicade/pso/pso_index.html
IV injection every 2 months, he's had zero side effects, sounds like its worth looking into.

Is this different than eczema. My girlfriend claims to suffer from eczema but I've always suspected psoriasis.

From Remicade Medication Guide:
http://www.remicade.com/remicade/assets/Med_Guide.pdf
"- In clinical studies, more cancers were seen in patients who took REMICADE and other medicines that block TNF than patients who did not receive these treatments.
- Some patients with Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis who have received REMICADE have developed a rare type of cancer called Hepatosplenic T-cell Lymphoma. Most of these patients were teenage or young adult males. This type of cancer results in death. All of these patients had also received drugs known as azathioprine or 6-
mercaptopurine together with REMICADE.
- People who have been treated for rheumatoid arthritis, Crohn's disease, ankylosing spondylitis, psoriatic arthritis and plaque psoriasis for a long time may be more likely to develop lymphoma. This is especially true for people with very active disease.
- Patients with COPD (a specific type of lung disease) may have an increased risk for getting cancer while being treated with REMICADE.
- If you take REMICADE, your chances of getting lymphoma or other cancers may increase. "

Theres risk with all drugs, but ask someone suffering from Psoriasis if they are willing to take slight risks to be 100% clear and you'd probably get an overwhelming yes.
