Default Paint Matching

There are a few car enthusiasts around here on CP... and considering that I'm in Calgary, I thought I'd ask the CP collective where can you get paint matching done.

My mom's car scraped the metal pole of a cart housing at a Superstore and now I'm going to try and repaint that part (yeah, it'd probably look ugly, but I'll give it a shot)

So where can I go match the paint of the car? It's a 2004 Corolla, pearl green I think it is or something like that.

Thanks CP

Why not start by phoning a Toyota dealership and ask them if they have those little vials of paint in the right color?

IIRC Crappy tire has a car paint section. Use the book provided to look up the vehicle model and paint color code.

Their little vials are more expensive.......on the other hand, they are the exact color you want.....and they are the proper enamel you want. Done properly, you won't notice anything, providing we are not talking about a huge area of damage.

I'll phone them and see if they have them in spray cans...

I know with Mazda, those rock chip repair paint pens can go from anything from $8 - $11...
