Oilers bring a hammer to the first game, this series will still be decided by injuries and who can do a better job managing their CD rating

Chris Kelly with his best game of the playoffs helps lead the Oilers to a 6-1 win to open the Howe Conference finals. Rick DiPietro only was able to keep 9 of the 14 shots his way out of the net which allowed the Oilers to build up a 5-0 lead by the end of the second period. Seeing all those goals go in took some wind out of a Hawks team who managed only 1 shot that period while giving up 4 goals. Shanahan, Straka, Vermette, and Sharp also had multi point games for the Oilers who won game 1 for the third straight series. Hopefully this series can continue the way the last two did for us.

Than cheer for your former Habs like Katie Perry, Martin Erat, and Valeri Filpulla. Unlike the NHL the CPHL Oilers are run by a good looking personable guy that people actually like. Not some bitter old Klown with a bad comb over.

And the Hawks have Miettenen, Michalek and Ballard...all former Habs.
