This series just took a huge turn in the Sharks favor. Cammalleri and Mitchel who have been my top two guys at those positions get injured and won't go next game and probably out for 2 games. Bet your house, wife, dog on the Sharks making the comeback here. The war of attrition has begun and I ain't equipped to fight that battle.

Congrats to the Sharks for being able to last long enough to get the series going their way and complete the comeback. It's definitely going to happen. I sort of figured there was no way I'd beat the Wild and the Sharks back to back.

Talk about going overboard. You should talk like that if the series goes to 3-3. Not being up 3-1.

Sharks Stave Off Elimination!

Sidney Crosby led the way with two goals including the game winner 13 minutes into overtime and Chris Pronger made sure Game 5 will be difficult for the Oilers taking out their stud defensive Dman, Willie Mitchell, for at least one game, possibly 2 or 3. Mike Cammalleri, their top scoring forward so far in the playoffs, will also be out after suffering an injury for no apparent reason in the first.

The win gives the Sharks a new sense of hope, especially with those two big time gamers out of action for the next game or so. Look for the Sharks to come out strong in Game 5!!!

Hawks bring series to 2-2

The Good:
The Ducks held the Chicago powerplay off the scoresheet despite giving up 6 man advantages compared to our 1. Dany Heatley continued his string of strong performances netting 1G and 1A.

The Bad:
We took far too many penalties. Even though they didn't capitalize it gave us less time to score. The Hawks peppered us with shots and in the end it paid off as they walked out of Anaheim with a split and a tied series.

Next up:
It is now a best of 3 series that begins in Chicago for game 5. This series has been close the entire way and I'd expect that to continue the entire way.

Hawks win but Lose Radulov!

Great effort by the team with a balanced scoring attack to tie this series up. Unfortunately there will have to be changes to our lineup after an injury to winger Alexander Radulov.

You should know the routine, it's the old "us against them" media conference. Maybe we should take a show of hands to see how many here would have thought that the Oilers could have taken the series to 7 games against the powerful defending Stanley Cup champions. So this way we can compare it to the show of hands on how many of us think the Oilers have a chance in game 7
