Default Most intense street fight in Calgary

This is the real deal. Like Patrick Swayze in Roadhouse, 2 combatants fight in the streets of Calgary with brutal fury. The back spinning kick and uppercut combo rivals even Street Fighter 3.

Warning: Not for the faint of heart!

Is that really in Calgary?

Also, how the hell did someone get that on video?
In 1991, no one had cellphones. Was someone lugging a RCA VHS video camera around or something?

That's one of the many mysteries that will probably go unanswered. I assume someone did lug around a VHS camcorder. Actually, come to think of it, didn't 1991 have Hi8? that would have been a smaller camera.

^^^ I was trying to figure out if that's where it was taking place. That was the only place I could guess (if it was indeed Calgary).

EDIT: Actually kinda looks like a scene outta FUBAR, lol.

It's definitely Electric Avenue in Calgary from sometime in the late 80s or early 90s.

You can see the Sport Swap on the corner of 11th Ave and 6th St SW, and the bar named "Electric Avenue" on the other corner. Also, the vehicles on the road appear to be from that time frame too.

It does look like something out of Fubar, and it wouldn't surprise me if it was fake (as said, who would have had a video camera walking around there back then?).

Possible that it could have been an American tourist, since the whole fiasco took place around Calgary Stampede. So it's possible the tourist was just lugging around a camera and got lucky.
