Default Woops!

They say one person's trash is another person's treasure. Well this quote could never be more true!

http://www.calgaryherald.com/Life/Du...361/story.html

"She had bought a new mattress for her mother and, wanting the gift to be a surprise, threw away the old one. She then found out the decades-old mattress contained her mother's life savings."

Riiiight. I bet they're "helping". Helping after hours with a flashlight.

Cant say I feel sorry for this one.

Jeez, that's harsh and judgmental. Seems like an innocent mistake to me, which just happened to cost an old woman her life savings. That's terrible.

This is why I hate people who throw things away.

If you have a family member or a friend who has kept something for years and never thrown it away - IT IS NOT A HAPPY SURPRISE OR FAVOR OR ANYTHING for them for you to throw that item way without telling them.
