Jimmy - "Can I get an alternative phrase that means the same thing?"

Host - "Pulsing tower of man meat"

Host - "Very good Jimmy, now sally, your word is Vagina"

Wow, this is almost off-season programming already.

I can hardly wait for the World Cup of Cup Stacking or the World Championship of Rock, Paper, Scissors.

There was controversy last year....exciting!!

A few years back there was an Onion article about a kid losing on the word 'Girlfriend'. Very funny article.

Nope they all flamed out in round 5. But we sent a young team this year, we're rebuilding for 2011.

Don't laugh but they had the highlight run of that event on TSN2 a couple of months ago.

I know...I remember the last time it was on I was hungover to the point of almost killing myself and I couldnt reach the remote so I had the honour of watching the Championship match and there was a huge controversy about whether he switched his throw from paper to rock mid-throw.

Huge controversy....the best part was they had that smart-ass British commentator that I love who knew this was a BS assignment, best thing I've ever seen and heard:

"Quite the controversy here, things are getting heated and....oh my, the competitors are throwing rocks everywhere!!"

I remember watching that, and thinking that any sport no matter how goofy can be the most awesome thing with the right commentator or color guy.

Absolutely. I've always kind of wanted to go into Journalism just to see if I could make my way as the insanely sarcastic commentator. It would be great.

I remember this commentator from the Euro Cup and he did a few EPL games this season too and hes just hysterical when he gets bored he starts making things up and hes probably calling the Rock, Paper, Scissors thing as a punishment.

Conversely, the wrong commentator or colour guy ruins everything, no matter how good it is.

See: Harry Neal, Bob Cole, GolTV Guy, Marc Crawford.....etc...
