This guy lost like 100lbs by modifying his diet to 1000 calorie/day limit. He maintained that lost weight despite whatever he ate. He did 1 month of only Chef Boyardee (disgusting!!!) and then one month of only Swanson Hungry Man TV Dinnners (blech!). Now he's on 1 month of only healthy food.
