Default Hydroxycut recalled

FDA says it causes liver damage. I had a lot of success with the original forumla but when they took the ephedrine out it didn't help me nearly as much. That said I will still pop a couple every now and then...not anymore I guess.

http://www.cnn.com/2009/HEALTH/05/01...all/index.html

The FDA is warning consumers to immediately stop using 14 Hydroxycut products manufactured by Iovate Health Sciences Inc. of Oakville, Ontario, and distributed by Iovate Health Sciences USA Inc. of Blasdell, New York.

I read someone has apparently died from using it.

Just shows how careful you need to be when taking some dietary supplements.

You mean something that makes you lose weight at an unnatural rate is bad for you? /green

I have never tried the stuff, but apparently it makes people fart a lot which would explain why I am always having to breath in people's dirty farts at the gym all the time. Stop it.

I imagine a lot of the problems have occurred from people being too exessive with the stuff.

Gosh people. Just eat right and exercise. None of these ridiculous quackeries work (includes "cleanses" as well).

If you want to lose weight without exercising, check this out: http://www.saveyoursweat.com/

This guy lost like 100lbs by modifying his diet to 1000 calorie/day limit. He maintained that lost weight despite whatever he ate. He did 1 month of only Chef Boyardee (disgusting!!!) and then one month of only Swanson Hungry Man TV Dinnners (blech!). Now he's on 1 month of only healthy food. It's still 1000 calories a day and he's basically 150lbs.

That means you eat one large meal a day or spread it out. 1000 calories. It can be this:

Or it can be just one of these per day:

Thank you for posting this, I probably wouldn't have come across it otherwise. My girlfriend has been known to take this crap even though I am vocally opposed to such silly supplements and there is no reason why she would need to anyway.

What about MX-LS7?

It was a MLB player a few years ago. He wasn't taking the recommended amount though. More like hand fulls of the stuff. Everything is toxic if you take too much of it.
