The Flames presented Player Awards for 2008-09 prior to Friday’s home finale. Kyle Greentree captured three awards while Leland Irving won two honors. The complete list of winners is listed below:

Most Valuable Player – Kyle Greentree

Fan Favorite Award – Leland Irving

Jim Kohley Memorial Award – Brett Sutter

Star Player Award – Kyle Greentree

Media Award – Peter Vandermeer

Leading Scorer – Kyle Greentree

Defenseman of the Year – Anders Eriksson

Rookie of the Year – Leland Irving

Most Improved Player – Kris Chucko

The only reason why Bubba's dumb ass was DOY was because he had some many points and was on the ice over 50% of the game. Palin would of won it if he didn't get hurt.
