CP Playoff Pool Online - Free - Deadline Friday - 4pm

Hey everyone. My son badly wanted to enter a playoff points pool of some kind, but I couldn't seem to find any free ones online so I thought I'd just organize one for anyone on CP (and friends) that wanted to join. Feel free to forward the link to any friends you think might be interested.

Rules


Free to join.

• Deadline for entries is Friday, April 17th, 2009 at 6PM EDT - 4PM MST.
• Points will be retroactive to the beginning of the playoffs.
• Pick one player from each of the 14 groups that you feel will accumulate the most points over the course of the entire playoffs.
• Goals and Assists are worth 1 point each.
• The entry with the most total points at the end of the playoffs is the winner.
• Sorry no prizes...yet. If anyone/any business wants to donate anything to the prize pool, we would gladly arrange the delivery to the winner(s) and make sure you get recognition for the donation. If you are interested in sponsoring the pool with a prize, please contact kevin@sportzone.ca or PM me.
• Only one entry per person please.
• Stats and standings will be tracked at www.PickupHockey.com

I will set up the league at PickUpHockey.com, and post the link here. Also, Pickuphockey sends out daily email updates as well, with links.

Even though the registration deadline isn't until Friday, I might enter the already registered teams into the database tonight so you can watch your points right from the start. Entries will be retroactive to the start of the playoffs anyway, but watching your players is part of the fun of playoffs.

I added a couple of teams this afternoon, and realized the entry is way quicker than I expected, and that was the reason for the limit of one team entry. But now I'm thinking a 2 entry limit would be fine.

Any thoughts?
