Well it seems that where I work has started filtering out forums, and it might be only a matter of time until Calgarypuck is lost.

During playoffs I don't know what I would have done if I didn't have CP to refresh throughout the day. And where else can I get reliable lockout news? Noooooooo!

I guess this means its time for a new job :P

I get hotmail and gmail and other email sites blocked here at work.

I get this big red hand that comes up and says "This site does not meet our business requirements..."

I also dont get streaming media sites, and gaming sites.

But, I get CP, and as long as I have that I will be a happy camper.

Can you do remote access?

If so just browse from your home PC

you cna even encrypt the remote access so your IT department would have to... well hack your packets

Desperate measures call for desperate times! I have a friend who might let me hop through a computer at his office

Yep, that is exactly what you need to do. Works like a charm! The business may block the default ports that Remote Access uses, but you can change them to use any port; one that is not ever blocked. Port 80 is never blocked.

I have a laptop for my job and that functions as my home computer as well. Don't do much but surf and email and burn my pictures on CD's, so I sold the 6 year old POS I had at home.
