Yesterday was the deadline. Coverage I have found so far.

Alberta Tories' financial report shows party's might

Without even looking at the numbers, you can tell a lot about Alberta politics from the annual party financial reports that came in Tuesday.
The Tories, for instance, make up their own way of reporting and turn a slick printed document over to Elections Alberta.
Well, why not? They fired the chief electoral officer himself a month ago. They might as well ignore his forms too.
Meanwhile, the opposition parties dutifully fill in the official Elections Alberta form, by hand.
You can imagine party officials hunched over the papers with a quill pen, while the rich Tory Scrooge sits at a high desk and needles them for being so pathetic.
The Wildrose Alliance enjoyed a real surge in fundraising last year, collecting nearly $1 million. The new party emerged from 2008 with a deficit of only $1,622.95.
That's really good, actually. Any opposition party so close to being debt free is a big winner on Alberta's loser circuit.
But the Tories, by imposing contrast, earned $112,000 in interest on their bank accounts alone.
The party surplus at year's end topped $2 million, even after they ran a $2.6 million deficit for the March election.
The Tories had $448,000 in cash plus another $1,5 million in term deposits.
The ruling party seems to have avoided risky investments with Bernie Madoff or any other toxic loser. The Heritage Fund should be so smart.
It's remarkable--stunning, really--that the party spent so much on an election campaign, and still came out of 2008 with $2.2 million.

Balance sheet for Alberta Tories rebounds into the black

After less-than-stellar fundraising during the March 2008 election--attributed partly to oilpatch furor over royalty hikes -- the provincial Tories raised slightly more cash last year than in 2007 and surpassed their financial performance in Ralph Klein's 2004 campaign.
The PC party, which has governed Alberta since 1971, collected $3.2 million through donations, membership sales and other revenue sources, outpacing its competitors by millions of dollars, according to annual financial statements due by Tuesday to Elections Alberta.
While the Tories raised only $580,000 in the 28-day 2008 campaign, just $67,000 more than the fledgling Wildrose Alliance and $350,000 less than the 2004 election period, the PCs' eventual financial rebound underscores the party's political dominance, suggested Harold Jansen, a political scientist at the University of Lethbridge.
"There were some questions going in whether the Conservative dynasty was looking a bit shaky, but Ed Stelmach answered that pretty decisively when the election results came in," Jansen said. "They established themselves as the only game in town and have benefited accordingly."
Jim Campbell, the Conservative party's executive director, conceded the party took a financial hit last year from some oilpatch players disgruntled with the royalty review, but said the Tories made up ground in other areas, bettering 2007' s$3.1-million revenue total.

I don't really have time to debate this, but thought I would throw it up here for discussion.
I have a 3 hour meeting with my MLA tonight, I will check back after that to see if anyone cares.....

Liberals = $ 437,690.00 Deficit
NDPs = $ 408,628.00 Deficit
Greens = ???? Apparently they did not have enough money to pay for the required audit; so they risk deregistration.
