Default Favorite Calgary Resturant

What is your favorite Calgary resturant?

One choice only, any genre. If there was only one Calgary resturant you could take to a desert island with you, what would it be?

Awesome. I told my girl I'd take her out to dinner somewhere nice, and it was going to be the first response to a thread started on CP. She was scared, but Ford Prefect came through and delivered!

Favourite lunch restaurant - Met Grill (food is okay, but that is not the reason to go to the Met)
Favourite steak house - Ruth's Chris Steak House (too expensive to go to regularly, but they make a great steak regardless of it not being Alberta beef)
Favourite family restaurant - Montana's - only because my son love's going there, and its not painful to hang out there with kids (and my son can draw on the table)

Not a fan of their faire.

It is alright, but far from 'BeSt EvAr'.

Sugo would be good if only because they change their menu so often (too often), that would be wicked on an island with no other choices! lol

I have a soft spot for Hose&Hound Pub (Ingelwood) though, despite all of the higher-end choices out there....

Cattle Baron is just about the only place that's not a chain that I will frequent when I go to Calgary.

Great steak, great prices.

When I travel for business I try to find the best steakhouses in the cities.

Cattle Baron is up there.

When it existed downtown, Sukiyaki House.

They were supposed to relocate to a new location, but I haven't heard anything.

Silver Inn on Centre St and 26th Ave is to die for. I've been going there since well before birth.
