You're just a $hit magnet arent you? Is your real name Murphy?
I have nothing constructive to add.

It is pretty hard to hack an MSN account..They must of used your secret question to get in, so suspect everyone you know...Or you didn't log out of a public terminal...but to get into a MSN account any other way would take some mad skillz

He probably used the same password as he used for his extension cords.

Yeah, most likely it's someone you know, or you didn't log out at a cafe or something. Try beating the crap out of each of your friends until one confesses.

Why would anyone bother hacking an email account? What are you gonna get from that? Goofy email from the guys wife and a ticketmaster password? Yay.
Jolinar, I'd be suspicious of the people closest to you. Maybe your wife thinks you're fooling around on her.

Did you try changing your email and see if that works?
It works for hacked facebook accounts.

I had a Computer Science Prof. at the UofC who told us not to cheat on our assignments, because he could and would hack into our emails (most serious tone and face). Sadly, that is one of the main things I remember from that course. Sorry about your hotmail being hacked. The only advice I could give is to delete items that you don't need on a weekly basis.

Keylogger.
Anti-virus do not spot them, only good registry cleaners and ad-ware cleaners do.

I have a friend who had her account hacked. Had it not been for me noticing on MSN that she had made an update to her profile page which was unusual and then checking it out only to see her profile pic had been changed to a picture of a woman's backside and asking her what was up with that she probably would have never knew. It kind of freaked her out and she ended up having to change her password for everything including her banking info.

If I copied and pasted my passwords would the keylogger pick that up?

I copy/paste most of my passwords. My stalkers hacked so many emails and accounts of mine I had to come up with ridiculously complicated passwords.

Stalker S? As in, you've been stalked more than once? Damn. Well, I did think that pic you posted was quite something. I guess the life of a pretty girl isn't all free drinks and roses.

you're just getting this now?
wasn't there a thread about this recently??? and speaking of which, i just recently had a customer stalk me slightly, asked me for my number and when i sd no, he couldn't understand why........the best part is, he was a collection call that i had to explain how when you pay your bills regularly, THATS when your balance goes down.
ya. totally gonna date you...NOT.
edit-i forgot to mention that when he does decide to grace us with his payments after mass amounts of phone calls and threatening letters, he shows up with a PICK in his hair.

Thanks, I think. haha. But my stalkers weren't really after me in that way. They were out to get me as some sort of revenge for not wanting to be in their weird social circle. The main stalker's husband is a sex offender so it can get pretty scary.
Stalkers are no fun. I've had my ebay account hacked and the fees run up, my checking account emptied and so many other things. What I've found out is that passwords can't have anything to do with significant dates or names of family members, pets, hobbies, etc. Now all my passwords are pretty random, I also use various forms of punctuation thrown in with letters and numbers to make it that much more difficult for anyone to guess.
It sucks having to constantly worry about what they're going to do next. They tried to hijack my season ticket account, but put the wrong password in five times and got locked out. Its so ridiculous.
One of them used to send threatening text messages and since he worked for his cell phone provider, he would delete them from the account at work so there was no proof he ever sent them.
