I'm sure there are some of you who remember the old CBC series "He Shoots, He Scores" or Lance de Compte that aired in the mid/late 80's.

There was Pierre Lambert and Marc Gagnon, who led the Quebec Nationals to the Stanley Cup in Season 1.

I've been searching for an English version DVD or VHS copy of the series for a while. There's French versions on eBay.. but nothing available in English.

Has anyone out there seen this (own it) in English? Sure it was a cheesy Canadian soap opera, but was good for a few laughs.

It was awesomely cheezy. Watched it every week.

No idea if it was ever released in English. Perhaps a google search to find the producers and then try and backtrack from there?

I remember watching the English version of the show until someone at school told me the French version showed boobies. That's all I needed to switch.

LOL, as soon as I saw this thread I remebered seeing boobies, I was just a kid back then so that was a big event.
