Default March Madness

Didn't look like there was a thread so I thought I would make one. I'm watching Memphis(2) at Northridge(15) right now, and Northridge is up by 1 with around 7 minutes to go. Surprised that a 15 seed is keeping this so close.

I know nothing about any of these teams, but I love watching these games, great entertainment.

CS Northridge keeps memphis in a close game until about 4 minutes to go, then Memphis pulls away to win 81-70. Sallie for Memphis had 35 points - his previous career high was 13.

Couple of good early games. Cal State Northridge kept it close till the last 5 minutes or so. I have Memphis going to the final 4 so i'm glad they pulled it out. LSU-Butler was a decent game as well. I had LSU winning that one.

From Wikipedia:

They were the "Moccasins" until 1996, after Moccasin Bend in the Tennessee River.

The nickname was dropped in 1996 due to concerns over ethnic sensitivity, and they were re-named the "Mocs"

I'll be one of the many at 6/7 after this afternoon's games. I think a good goal for the first round is 26/32, with 13 of your sweet 16 teams and 7 of your elite 8 still in it.

Anything better than that is just gravy.

We could see some upsets here. Clemson and Villanova are losing by double digits in the 2nd half.

How about Villanova getting absolutely worked by American in the 1st half? Down 10.

They lose...i aint winning any of the brackets im in...have them going deep in all of em.

Also the Zags getting all they can handle from Akron?? Ouch.

I'm the exact same way with Villanova. I'm hoping for a comeback this half.

Also hard to believe Akron giving it to Gonzaga. I know quite a few people who were hoping Gonzaga could take down North Carolina (not that they actually would).

That's me! I'm one very nervous Zag fan right now. Zips lead Zags 52-51 now.

Villanova and Gonzaga pull out the wins after all.

My bid for a perfect bracket has been ruined for another year. Thanks Michigan!

11-1 now so far.
