Winter storm warning for
City of Calgary issued
Heavy snow and blowing snow expected tonight and Sunday.
This is a warning that dangerous winter weather conditions are imminent or occurring in these regions. Monitor weather conditions...Listen for updated statements.
An intense pacific low pressure system will develop in southern Alberta and Montana today. This system will at first produce rain in the afternoon. However the low pressure system will start bringing in colder air and precipitation will turn to snow by this evening. Heavy snowfall is expected with 10 to 20 cm in some localities. In addition strong northeasterly winds will develop producing blowing snow conditions reducing visibility.
This winter storm can produce poor travelling conditions. Persons in or near these areas should be on the lookout for adverse weather conditions and listen for updated warnings.

They are forecasting a bunch of rain this evening, turning to snow. Accumulations of 10-15 cm in the evening/overnight with blowing snow (wind 30-50 km/h) and then 2 cm tomorrow. High +12 today, overnight low -1, high +1 tomorrow.

Yesterday, I was told the weather on weekend was supposed to be nice, maybe some rain on Saturday, and cold on Sunday. So I washed my car, thinking no more winter, it's spring. It's going to snow today. FML.

Its been 80-88 here all week, I wake up this morning and its cloudy and cold. I want Spring! I guess I'm only cleaning the inside of my car.
