Default Upside down AVi-file

Any one knows?
Downloaded an AVi-file yesterday, but when I play in in the computer, its upside down. If I run it through VideoLan (VLC), it works, but is there any way to turn it right, and then burn it to a dvd-disc?

Load it up in Avid or Final cut and flip it around. Re-compress it to AVi and away you go!

upside down is just a broken or conflicting codec somewhere along the way. no way of telling which one though.

I'm pretty sure it will be right side up when burned and if you want it as a DVD, most burning programs like Nero can encode it as DVD video.

It's an issue with your codec, if you have FFDshow installed try this:

Start Menu->ffdshow->Configuration. Select under Miscellaneous in the menu to the left and select Flip video. Hit OK and try play the video.
